Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable GMP Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our pharmaceutical production areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a sterile and contamination-free environment, supporting the production of safe and effective pharmaceutical products.

Pay: $21.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Sunday 7am - 3:30pm, and Tuesday - Friday 8pm-4:30am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and deep cleaning of cleanrooms, production suites, laboratories, and controlled environments.
  • Follow strict GMP protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and documentation.
  • Sanitize equipment, walls, floors, ceilings, and surfaces using approved cleaning agents and techniques.
  • Accurately complete cleaning logs, checklists, and other required documentation in real-time.
  • Handle and dispose of waste materials according to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Participate in training sessions and audits as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Prior experience in GMP cleaning, pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments preferred.
  • Understanding of GMP, SOPs, and cleanroom classifications (ISO 5–8).
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow gowning procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in controlled environments with strict gowning and hygiene protocols.
