Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 6 or more years of professional experience in developing Android applications using Android Studio, with strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. You’ll work on building and enhancing innovative, high-quality mobile apps that deliver seamless user experiences and align with modern development standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java within Android Studio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that follows best practices and architectural standards.
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness across a range of Android devices and OS versions.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, including crash reports, performance bottlenecks, and UI inconsistencies.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, libraries, and tools.

Qualifications and Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Proficiency in Android Studio, Kotlin, and Java.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK components, Material Design, and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative agile team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
