As a member of the Communications team at the BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site, you will support a variety of internal and external communication tasks aimed at strengthening employee engagement to help achieve our business goals. • Content Creation and Development: Generate creative ideas and assist in developing internal communication content and materials, such as newsletters, editorials, and other related deliverables.
• Translation: Translate project-related documents and content between English and Chinese.
• Platform Management: Maintain and optimize internal information platforms, including the intranet and WordPress-based tools.
• Vendor and Event Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and agencies on the development and production of communication materials, and assist in the planning and execution of various events.
• Other Communication Tasks: Undertake additional communication-related assignments as directed by supervisor.
• Interest and Knowledge: A genuine interest in the chemical industry and sustainable development, with a basic understanding of these areas.
• Academic Background: Currently pursuing a university or postgraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business English, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, creative, and results-driven.
• Technical Skills: Experience with WordPress and basic web design knowledge is preferred.
• Availability: Ideally able to commit to a full-time work schedule (five days per week).
