This requires us to continuously advance our use of data and analytics to deliver personalized, engaging, and AI-driven learning experiences that develop top talent and sustain our competitive edge.

As the Global Learning Analytics Director, you will lead enterprise-wide learning analytics initiatives, developing and executing a visionary strategy that delivers high-impact, actionable insights. Operating across a complex, global network, you will equip senior leadership with the intelligence needed to drive strategic decisions and continuously enhance the learner experience and business outcomes.

You will be accountable for the end-to-end learning analytics agenda, collaborating across BCG's Learning and People teams, Agile Product Portfolio Teams, and firm leadership to define KPIs, measure the true impact of learning initiatives, and integrate data-driven insights into firm-wide talent and business strategies.

You will also direct priorities of our dedicated Learning Data and Analytics resources, and partner closely with our People Analytics and HR/Data Agile Product teams to evolve the systems and infrastructure required for world-class learning analytics.

Your work will be crucial to the overall success of our learning & development function, enabling effective decision making and supporting BCG's mission to continuously develop, engage, and retain top talent.

You will report to the Global L&D Transformation Senior Director who reports directly to the Chief Learning Officer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure our L&D function has actionable real time intelligence

  • Owning the enterprise-wide analytics strategy for Learning & Development
    • Co-developing our KPIs with the Chief Learning Officer and leadership team, clearly defining methodologies and approach for effective implementation.
    • Owning end-to-end delivery of the analytics strategy, including influencing senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in is achieved across our Learning Community, People Team and the Business functions on how we measure learning success.
  • Prioritizing analytics requests & facilitate analytics needs are effectively and timely serviced through our People Analytics team function.
  • Ensure reporting is readily available and enable self-service (e.g. allow decision makers to select varying time periods, sub-audience views etc for comparison views).
  • Drive for insight and conduct ad-hoc in-depth analysis as needed for the Learning & Development function (e.g. strategic reviews).

Thought partner with the global L&D leadership team

  • Establish strong relationships with key L&D managers and directors to identify what analytics service needs are required
  • Analyze impact of key learning experiences and ensure we are able to pivot from mainly focusing on whether mandatory learning has been consumed to what share of learners have demonstrated a targeted skill & what are key contributing factors.

Build strategic relationships to improve our analytics capabilities

  • Creating a learning analytics network across BCG, driving collaboration and alignment across AgileWorks, People, and Learning teams.
  • Facilitating best practice sharing and work closely with regional and local L&D teams as a thought partner on devising how to measure success of learning experiences

Enhancing systems and infrastructure

  • Partnering with Agile Product Portfolio teams to ensure data collection systems are optimized for analytics, reporting, and actionable intelligence.

What You'll Bring

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree and preferably an advanced degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
  • 10+ years' functional experience in Learning, People Analytics, or a related field, with expertise in data visualization, advanced reporting, and problem-solving.
  • You work autonomously, independently, with only broad direction and you are very proactive with demonstrated impact across large, complex, global organizations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with a track record of presenting insights and strategic recommendations to senior executives.
  • Expertise in working across virtual, geographically dispersed teams and multicultural environments.
  • Experience with LMS/Learning systems, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and collaboration with IT/Agile teams to evolve analytics platforms. Coding experience a major plus (e.g. Python)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (Fluency in English writing and speaking)

Additional info

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

The base salary range for this role is $161,000.00 - $182,333.33

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 30% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
