A Typical Day

Engage in database support experience and database engineering to support business operations. Design and build different database models using tables, views, Stored procedures, triggers and other database components. Develop nugget packages that can be integrated with other processes to drastically reduce the development effort. Develop cloud- based solutions using Amazon AWS tools like EC2 instances, S3 storage. Develop/enhance reports, support adhoc reporting and analytics and quality control. Partner with business clients to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs and identify data mapping and interpretation for each data element. Involved in project management, development, execution, implementation, testing and deployment. Participate in meetings with internal and/or external business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs. Ensure data standards and quality, develop and maintain policies and procedures, and data governance. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analysis of current data integrity reporting and engage business partners when process re-certification is required, or new certification is implemented.

What You’ll Bring

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a SQL Developer, Developer or in a related position. Experience must include: SSIS, SSRS, TFS/ PVCS, T-SQL, Express Loader and PVCS (Polytron Version Control System).

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
