Daikin Applied is seeking a MINNEAPOLIS BASED Salesforce Solution Architect who will be responsible to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable CRM & B2B Commerce solutions on the Salesforce platform. The Solution Architect ensures smooth day-to-day functioning of CRM functionalities and supports business users in managing their digital commerce ecosystem. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Salesforce and B2B Commerce (formerly CloudCraze), integration patterns, and a strategic mindset to align technology with business goals. Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation for Salesforce & B2B eCommerce solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient technical solutions
• Partner with business owners to understand requirements, build functional design documentation, and develop technology solutions that align with business goals
• Define best practices and standards for Salesforce & B2B eCommerce development and integration
• Design and implement data models, user interfaces, APIs, and backend logic using Salesforce core platform
• Provide architectural guidance on third-party integrations, such as ERP, payment gateways, and other external systems
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and performance-optimized
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and features, especially related to B2B Commerce and Lightning Web Components (LWC )
• Work closely with eCommerce Product owner and IT teams to support business needs
• Document configurations, processes, and training materials for internal teams
• Keep up-to-date with Salesforce releases and B2B Commerce enhancements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• Bachelor's Degree, or associate degree plus 7 to 9 years of Technology related experience
• Strong understanding of Salesforce core platform (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud)
• Strong understanding of B2B Commerce data model, including Product2, PriceBook, Order, Account, and Contract
• Experience with Salesforce Storefront, setup/configuration, Data Loader, reports & dashboards
• Good understanding of eCommerce workflows (product browsing, pricing, checkout, order management)
• Experience working in Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
• Experienced working on B2B eCommerce and other external community sites
• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform including its core features, capabilities, and limitations
• Experience with Salesforce's various cloud offerings such as Sales, Service (Order Management), and Marketing Cloud
• Experience with understanding and assessing proposed solutions to meet requirements
• Salesforce certifications such as B2B Commerce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or System Architect preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,800 to 188,300 + 20% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
