Product Engineering

Our Apple Media Engineering team is seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager to help us deliver excellent streaming experiences for ESPN, Hulu, Disney+, and ABC on our Apple video player. Our team is responsible for playback across several devices including iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and Vision Pro. You will have the opportunity to lead talented engineers in the design and implementation of our video player across several impactful products and brands on these devices.
We are looking for an engineering manager with experience in Apple development best practices as well as video player experience. You should have passion and experience coding in Objective-C or Swift, debugging difficult problems, and eager to deliver a seamless experience to our users. As an engineering manager, you will lead the technical direction of the team’s work, and mentor and provide technical expertise to our engineering team. You will work closely with other technical teams to deliver feature-rich video services.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA and Santa Monica, CA is $167,700 to $224,900 per year, in Seattle, WA and New York, NY is $175,800 to 235,700 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $183,700 to $246,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
