Overview

Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment in manufacturing, production, or industrial facilities. Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Repairs: Repair or replace faulty components such as gears, bearings, and motors.
  • Installation: Assist in installing new equipment or machinery and ensure it meets operational standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all equipment operates within regulatory guidelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and repairs performed.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 5:30am to 3:30pm

Pay: $25/hr

Responsibilities

Perform regularly scheduled maintenance of all equipment/machinery.

Maintain equipment/machinery within tolerance of quality standards.

Train operators on correct operating and maintenance procedures.

Audit daily checks.

Maintain safe work/machine environment

Qualifications

Able to read and write in their primary language.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Able to lift 50 pounds.

Basic math skills
