A Carter Lumber Warehouse Specialist is responsible for conducting the workflow of shipping and receiving materials. Ensures stock and custom materials are stored properly and in an organized manner. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Responsibilities

Warehousing

Responsible for providing proper storage of all materials produced and received. Assists in inventory on stock material and reports shortages to proper personnel. Ensures incoming orders are correct and placed in proper storage areas.

Staging

Responsible for pulling stock and custom materials according to the order. Stages the material until the order is complete and ready to be shipped.

Safety

Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment. Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner. Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.

• Pallet jack and other loading equipment
• Banding Machine
