  • As a Senior SAP ECC ABAP Technical architect with extensive knowledge on the SAP ECC platform. You will be part of the Global SAP development team that support, designs and develops solution for Pitney Bowes. You are expected to perform and participate in all aspects of SAP deliveries. Develop, implement, maintain, and support the business application architecture from a global perspective. Qualification - B.Tech/B.E./ M.Tech or MCA with good understanding of business processes

The Job

  • Be part of a team to manage the timely technical support & solutioning in client’s evolving SAP landscape.
  • Responsible for supporting, development, analysis, coding and testing of SAP ABAP application.
  • Responsible for generating and reviewing the technical & functional specifications, planning project deliverables with stakeholders, monitoring and reporting project progress & implementing zero defect technical code for the production environment.
  • Be part of the team in EHP5.0 & EHP7.0 (Support pack 10) upgrade by using transactions SPDD & SPAU as a sub project.
  • Familiarity with Business Technology Platform (BTP) and S4 HANA Public Cloud is desirable
  • Familiar with LSMW utility to support Subject Matter Experts and the end users.
  • Work on ALE/IDOC configuration, RFC, File Interface, BAPIs. Experience in Performance Tuning, Debugging, Peer code reviews to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Work on Enhancements, Copy Control routines, User-Exits and BTE's related to SD, MM & FI.
  • Documenting process gaps, proposing new processes and developing code to enhance system performance.
  • Responsible for assessing development effort estimations and perform impact analysis for minor enhancements and new implementation requests according.
  • Responsible to understand BADI Implementation to populate 3rd party account number in the delivery doc, etc.
  • Be efficient in developing BDC programs to transfer data from legacy system to SAP.
  • Responsible for delivering objects adhering to all the business standards.
  • Perform and participate in all aspects of software development. This includes feature and functional development, writing unit and integration test cases, bug fixing, integration and deployment.
  • Should be results oriented, proactive, and ready to take ownership of their work
  • Individual must be a hands-on developer with strong skills in SAP ABAP. Will need to work closely with the functional team to help develop the best solutions.
  • Integrate with other business applications like Sterling CPQ, Oracle Leasing & SFDC.
