Job Title: Plant Controller

Location: Littleton, CO

Salary (Direct Hire): $114,500 – $150,000 + 15% Annual Bonus

Position Summary:

The Plant Controller for the Littleton facility is a key leadership role responsible for driving financial excellence within a complex manufacturing environment. This individual will oversee all financial operations at the plant, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal company policies. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing, cost accounting, and strategic business partnering within a global, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight & Reporting (40%)
• Ensure accurate and compliant financial records, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and adherence to GAAP, SOX, and corporate policy. Lead month-end close, weekly reporting pulses, and prepare quarterly forecasts and budgets.
• Performance Analysis & Business Partnering (35%)
• Analyze and communicate financial performance. Provide strategic financial guidance to plant leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to maximize operational and financial outcomes. Lead cost management and capital analysis efforts.
• Leadership & Process Improvement (25%)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging Lean principles. Lead the annual budget and forecast process, enhance the financial acumen of cross-functional teams, and support talent development within the finance function. Build effective relationships across direct and indirect reporting lines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or international equivalent) required
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance
• Proficiency in SAP
• Expertise in standard costing, budgeting, and capital planning/control
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Demonstrated success operating in a global, matrixed environment
• Experience with Lean tools and concepts preferred
