. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing web-based gaming using HTML5.
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, in a SCRUM-like development style.
- Develop automated tools.
- Make code reviews and help interns and junior programmers.
- Fix live issues/bugs on old and new games.
- Make research on new technologies and suggest technical solutions.
- Maintain transparent communication with immediate manager, with respect to work undertaken and ensure that performance standards/expectations should not get breached.
- Regularly update and consult with direct manager regarding ongoing tasks and projects.
- Provide timely progress reports and seek guidance as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Attend & contribute to team huddles, meetings & ad hoc meetings when required.
- Assist in additional tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or management to support the achievement of department and organizational goals.
II. INFORMATION LINKS AND RELATIONSHIP
- In his/her everyday work the Front-End Game Developer is subordinate to his/her superior or to the Managing Director of the Company, according to the approved Company’s organizational chart.
- Work closely with all relevant parties both inside and outside of the company.
What We're Looking For
. REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of Strong background in developing mobile games using HTML5, WebGL, JavaScript and Typescript
- Basic Skills: OOJS, MVC and any one of JS framework pixi.js, Phaser, Create JS
- Experience with Spine development
- Knowledge of Object Oriented and MVC design patterns
- Excellent analytical skills for debugging and problem solving skills
- Good experience on unit testing
- Knowledge of Node JS, NPM, Grunt, Ant, Git, Jenkins etc.
- Experience with JIRA or similar issue & project tracking tool
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes including Scrum
- Ability to review code and design
