As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
As an armed patrol officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role involves carrying an approved sidearm and other defensive tools, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Your presence and professionalism will help support a secure atmosphere for all individuals at the location.

Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious behavior.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public, staff, and visitors at the government location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Armed Security Professional License for the state of Florida.
- Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
- Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post.
- Must be trained and authorized to carry and use handcuffs while on duty.
- Must be trained and authorized to carry and use pepper spray while on duty.
- Must be trained and authorized to carry and use a sidearm while on duty.
- Must be trained and authorized to carry and use a Taser while on duty.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
