Job Summary:
The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist performs routine and complex imaging exams in assigned modalities which may include a combination of the following dependent on advanced certification and competency: Xray, CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Interventional Radiology.
Multi-Modality Imaging technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic exams, use of radiofrequencies, and/or multi-frequency sound waves for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist acquires and analyzes data needed for diagnosis, interpretation and the performance of imaging exams and procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
Multi-Modality Imaging technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
The Multi-Modality Technologist must be flexible in job assignments, willing and able to learn new skills, and is required to maintain annual competencies in all assigned modalities.
Multi-Modality Technologists must actively contribute to patient care across multiple modalities within their scheduled shifts and/or maintain active placement on more than one modality schedule during each pay period.

Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years-Related work experience (Required)

Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Sonography (S) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
