Shift
Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Day shift with occasional evening requirements. Flexible hours based on student’s class schedule.
Job Summary
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is seeking a student to help with hands-on support, including event logistics, set up and breakdown of special events across campus, research poster printing, and customer service.
Job Tasks as requested to support OUR special events:
1. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
2. Interact with diverse populations inclusive of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors
3. Assist with event management and execution including, event marketing, setup, check-in of attendees, facilitation, cleanup and other duties as assigned
4. Assist with OUR services including research poster printing and poster kiosk rentals
5. Ensure that all spaces are returned to default setup and in excellent condition after each event
6. Various other duties which support the work of OUR
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Students should be highly motivated, have strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently and with groups, flexible and willing to take the initiative, dependable and responsible, detail-oriented, a sense of personal responsibility, and be team oriented. Students fulfilling this position must be reliable and able to professionally interact with stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Library or customer service experience.
