The opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the responsibility for project execution. This includes fulfilment of scope, quality, financial and time constraints.
We have two project management models to apply:
- Projects where a gate model is used as guidance or as governance support.
- Projects within the SAFe setup at UM. In this case the project is called an EPIC and the project owner is called Epic owner.
Senior Project manager / Senior Epic Owner will lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex projects / Epics and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. With the Support from the project team/ SAFe teams the Project manager will be responsible for establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. And ensure execution /delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on- quality & safety framework of HITACHI ENERGY.

Your background
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience managing projects within a relevant field, ideally managing complex projects.
- Relevant field for MACH EPIC owners is Electronics product development including Hardware, software, FPGA and mechanics development. Ability to prioritize and allocate resources to align with department and company goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with domain experience in HITACHI ENERGY business, or another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
- Certified SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, Product owner/ Product Manager
- HITACHI ENERGY Certified Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.
