As a Production Area Leader, you will be responsible and accountable for Area Performance/Improvement, Leadership and Administration.

Your mainly tasks will be:

  • Fulfill production plan in terms of quantity an quality requireents
  • Proactively identify and implement corrective actions to address production deviations.
  • Efficiently manage material resources and capacity planning within both your area and connected areas.
  • Take the ownership of continuous improvement initiatives under your span of control.
  • Provide detailed reporting on area performance and participate in key projects and reviews to enhance performance.
  • Work closely with Maintenance and Process Engineering departments.
  • Performance evaluation of shift leader and lead technologists.
  • Manage employee data and working time administration using the time data management system.
  • Set and control the shift schedule, determining employment status (active/inactive), and recording employee departures.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Studies Background on a Technical Field (Engineering).
  • A strong technical understanding of processes and equipment relevant to the area of work.
  • Valuable knowledge of production methods and strategies, including capacity planning, Kanban, lean manufacturing, and SPC.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving methods such as 8D and 6 sigma, capable of tackling complex challenges effectively.
  • Expertise in quality management methods like Poka Yoke, FMEA, change management, supplier quality initiatives, and YIP.
  • Proven leadership skills, being capable of leading and managing interdisciplinary teams, with excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Good Command of English and Hungarian.
