Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $81,000.00 - $123,375.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
What you will be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Traffic Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve traffic flow around the HSS main campus, including optimizing entry and exit points, managing traffic signals, and coordinating with local authorities.
- Parking Operations: Oversee the daily operations of parking facilities, including monitoring usage, managing permits, and ensuring proper maintenance of parking areas across the HSS enterprise.
- Supervision: Oversee the parking management companies contracted at the HSS owned properties. Liase with parking management of leased locations that participate in the HSS Employee Parking Program. Ensure that parking attendants and traffic control staff provide excellent customer service and adhere to HSS policies.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize traffic and parking operations, ensuring compliance with HSS regulations.
- Customer Service: Address concerns and complaints regarding traffic and parking, providing solutions and maintaining positive relationships with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of traffic and parking facilities by implementing appropriate measures, such as surveillance systems, lighting, and regular patrols.
- Budget Management: Manage the traffic and parking budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on traffic and parking operations, usage statistics, and any issues or incidents to the Director of Facilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving traffic and parking operations and implement changes to enhance efficiency and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Transportation Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in traffic management, parking management, or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and proficiency in using traffic and parking management software and systems.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with traffic regulations, parking management best practices, and safety standards.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Primarily works in an office setting within the healthcare campus, with regular visits to traffic and parking facilities.
- Physical Demands: May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Schedule: Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
