Job Summary
This role will drive the planning, implementation, and operational evolution of our SPM/ICM teams, systems and processes. This role will be critical to accelerate implementation of a new enterprise SPM system and build sustainable operational excellence within the sales comp organization. The role isn’t just about maintaining current operations and systems—it’s about transforming them.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Ownership of SPM (Sales Performance Management) Lifecycle
- Lead all phases of the SPM journey—from vendor selection and system implementation to long-term operational optimization and global scalability. Unification of enterprise sales comp and planning execution will be key focus.
- Operational Leadership & Optimization
- Own and continuously refine cross-functional workflows across Sales Comp, GRO, HR, IT, and Finance to ensure system integrity, data readiness, and alignment with business needs. Optimize and improve processes that are directly and indirectly related to sales compensation administration and sales productivity insights/analytics
- Change Management & Enablement
- Design and lead sales comp operational change management initiatives to drive adoption, minimize disruption to reps, and align improvements to broader business strategies.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation
- Proactively manage design, data, and adoption risks through early identification, mitigation planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Influences executive decision on a wide range of business issues, including risk management and implementation tactics.
- Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development to elevate existing operational teams.
Education & Experience Recommended
- SPM/ICM Domain Expertise
- Proven experience leading enterprise SPM technology initiatives (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, Anaplan, SAP Commissions) with deep knowledge of sales comp data architecture models and incentive strategies.
- Vendor & Integration Insight
- Familiar with SPM/ICM specific vendor evaluation, implementation pitfalls, pricing models, and integration challenges across large-scale ecosystems.
- Cross-Functional Influence
- History of strong partnerships with Sales Comp, IT, Finance, HR, and Operations to align and execute multi-departmental priorities.
- Strategic Systems Thinker
- Skilled at sales comp and planning process mapping, governance setup, stakeholder alignment, and identifying operational bottlenecks.
- Future-Facing Value Creation
- Ability to elevate efficiency of operational teams and build internal capability for long-term success and reusability across future initiatives.
- Track record of transforming teams into high-performing, results-driven organizations
Impact & Scope
- Impacts multiple functions and may act as a lead to peers on cross-functional SPM initiatives project teams working to establish and execute business goals.

The pay range for this role is $183,650 to $293,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
