Product Manager - PM Tools and AI
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of portfolio management and AI tools for our fundamental equity strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and capital markets, with hands-on experience building tools for equity research and portfolio management workflows. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and financial acumen to drive innovation and deliver impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with investment teams, equities management, and risk managers to identify inefficiencies in research and portfolio management workflows and drive the AI and PM tools product roadmap.
- Work closely with the development teams to translate investment needs into scalable platform solutions and tools.
- Conduct deep discovery to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging AI technologies relevant to equity investing.
- Track product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement through iterative development and regular user engagement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years focused on financial technology or AI applications in capital markets.
- Understanding of fundamental equity investing, including research workflows, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex investment challenges into actionable solutions.
- Familiarity or interest in AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
