The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$109,600.00 - $164,400.00

Purpose Statement: The Global Technologies Senior Project Manager is responsible for maximizing the value returned from large-sized projects and programs. This role partners with senior leadership, such as Global Directors, to drive their strategic portfolio of projects, ensuring the application of project management best practices and effective communication. This position focuses on gathering the correct resources to accomplish projects by their targeted deadlines, supporting portfolio management and ensuring successful execution of large-scale, global initiatives.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Portfolio & Program Management: Supports Global Directors in leading assigned programs by proactively planning, monitoring, and controlling program execution. Assists in developing and maintaining program and portfolio plans, considering project interdependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Executive Communication & Status Reporting: Proactively communicates project progress, changes, and status to stakeholders, anticipating their needs and keeping them informed of potential roadblocks and mitigation strategies. Translates complex project details into strategic summaries and tailors communication to different audiences, including executive leadership, to secure support.
  • Global Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment: Acts as a key partner to leadership to foster alignment among cross-functional teams and stakeholders for strategic initiatives. Develops and implements comprehensive project management plans for geographically dispersed teams and manages stakeholder expectations across cultural boundaries.
  • Project Life Cycle & Methodologies: Leads assigned projects and programs, expertly applying the best-fit methodology, including agile and waterfall, within the Plexus PMO framework. Optimizes project plans considering schedule, budget, and resource constraints. Provides coaching and development to less senior PMs and project team members, fostering their growth.
  • Driving a Lean & Improvement Culture: In support of strategic transformation initiatives , proactively analyzes IT and operational processes to identify and implement improvements that optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Leads and facilitates team-based lean workshops to identify and address process bottlenecks.
  • Cybersecurity: Upholds the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, protecting data and systems, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience is typically required.
  • Preferred: PMP certification
  • Preferred: Demonstrated expertise and/or certification in agile (e.g., CSM, SAFe) and traditional waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Preferred: Experience in project management within a manufacturing, engineering, or operational technology environment.
  • Preferred: Proven experience supporting senior or executive-level leadership in portfolio management and the execution of strategic, transformational initiatives.

Travel Requirements:

  • 25% travel.
