Postgres Developer JD:

• 8+ years of experience in Postgres SQL database.
• Should have hands on development and support experience in Postgres DB.
• Well versed with PL/pgSQL coding, Implement queries, stored procedures, cursors, functions & triggers.
• Should be able to translate Oracle PL/SQL constructs to Postgres PL/pgSQL
• Good understanding and knowledge of Postgres Database architecture and features.
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization. Should be able to tune Postgres PL/pgSQL code.
• Monitor PostgreSQL database performance issues and resolve them.
• Well versed with Data loading and validations.
• Experience in DB migrations from Oracle to Postgres is a plus.
• Good understanding of Database designs and data modelling techniques.
• Knowledge and exposure to GCP cloud infrastructure and tools.
• Ability to communicate with Onshore clients, and dependent teams.
• Should have good problem solving and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
• Should be proactive, requires minimal supervision, ability to work as a team player.
