Located in McAllen, TX
Material handler will distribute oils and coolant to machines, this position requires heavy lifting, cleaning of oil/coolant spills, and lots of walking to distribute oils and coolant.
Pay: $12.00
Technical Job Functions:
- Kit, pick, issue, and deliver all materials to production areas using established procedures.
- Demonstrate good judgment of dimensions for materials and movement throughout production areas.
- Demonstrate proper handling and safety of material handling equipment.
- Conduct counts and verify inventory levels throughout the production areas.
- Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify facilitator/coordinator of hazardous situations.
Authorities and Responsibilities
- Assumes other projects and responsibilities as directed.
- Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
- Position reports to the Production Control Manager. Primary contacts are all manufacturing, various office areas, order entry, production scheduling, and warehouse. May have contact with outside vendors, must communicate well at all levels, and exhibit effective team skills.
- This position is accountable for daily activities with kitting, picking, and delivery to production areas. Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Able to Drive a forklift, use scanners, computers, Shiping and Receiving Experience.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6 am-4:30 pm
