As a Financial Analyst III, you will utilize your financial experience and skills to support the needs of the Cleveland Clinic. Your focus will be on financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis and cost-saving analytics in a value-based care model. You will collaborate with the Finance Lead, the Business Operations Lead and stakeholders across different departments, ensuring alignment with initiatives and objectives. You will also work independently to assess trends, develop models and propose strategies for cost savings and revenue optimization. While you may not interact with patients directly, your work will ultimately ensure they continue receiving the quality healthcare they have come to expect from Cleveland Clinic.

A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:30AM – 5:00PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
  • Provide support to management and other caregivers regarding financial reporting and other issues.
  • Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
  • Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and three years of experience in financial management, RCM or general analytics/Cleveland Clinic Fellow experience and two additional years of experience OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience
  • Ability to complete complex analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
  • Demonstrated understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
  • Excel proficiency

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certifications
  • Healthcare experience
  • SQL and Tableau skills

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
