Job Description

Car Wash Maintenance Technician needed in Forth Worth, TX – Experienced & Entry Level Positions Available!

Are you Self-Motivated? Do you love working with interesting equipment?

If so, here is good news for you! Take 5 Car Wash (a division of Driven Brands) is offering an opportunity to showcase your skills and join our growing team of Maintenance Technicians servicing and repairing car wash equipment at our locations in one of our growing markets!

Experience is VALUED…

Experienced maintenance technicians can join our team right away making up to $25 per hour base pay while earning additional $$$$ with our generous bonus program!

…but no experience is REQUIRED!

Some of our most successful technicians joined the team as trainees with no prior experience at all, but were once mechanics, lube technicians, construction workers, repair workers, factory workers, machine operators, service technicians, and other trade workers from a variety of industries!

PAID TRAINING AVAILABLE!

We will train you how to professionally repair and maintain our car wash equipment and during this time you will earn a competitive hourly pay rate and after training you will be eligible for raises to earn even more.

As a Maintenance Technician, your job will be:

• Installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at car wash field locations
• Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions
• Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced
• Providing onsite training for customer support personnel on occasion
• Identifying key issues with equipment
• Solving problems and spots new, less obvious solutions
• Completing work with a limited degree of supervision

All our Techs and trainees need to meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of experience; post-secondary school education may substitute for years of experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Candidates that have developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and have considerable on-the-job experience are encouraged to apply

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
