A Vermeer PD10 operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the Vermeer PD10 pile driving equipment.

  • Job Title:** Vermeer PD10 Operator
  • Job Summary:**

The Vermeer PD10 Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Vermeer PD10 pile driving equipment for utility installation and other related projects. The operator will ensure that all pile driving operations are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Key Responsibilities:**
  • Operate the Vermeer PD10 driving for installation of array piles and inverter piles
  • Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor pile installation parameters and make necessary adjustments to achieve project specifications.
  • Collaborate with crew members to plan and execute driving operations effectively.
  • Maintain communication with the project manager and other team members about progress and any issues encountered during installation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise during operations.
  • Keep accurate records of driving operations, including depth, pressure, and material used.
  • Participate in training and development programs as required.
  • Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in equipment operation is a plus.
  • Previous experience operating pile driver specifically the Vermeer PD10, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pile driving techniques and installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
  • Working Conditions:**
  • The position may require long hours and weekend work, depending on project timelines.
  • Work is primarily performed outdoors at construction sites.
