ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

Prioritize and plan workloads/assignments from schedules to achieve safety, quality, throughput, service goals, and to meet customer requirements. Evaluate capacity requirements and identify in advance changes necessary to meet customer expectations.

Job Description:

  • Plan and achieve productivity, quality, and cost targets in the SMT floor
  • Evaluate personnel requirements based on business and employee needs.
  • Evaluate training requirements, conduct and request necessary training as required.
  • Recommend equipment, tooling, and processes of SMT to support business objectives.
  • Lead SMT engineers on SMT NPI process development and meet schedule of project with production control.
  • Lead team to insure the safety stock of spare part.
  • Enforce safety regulations and all company policies.
  • Report any equipment that is not in safe operating condition and remove it from use.
  • Strive to continually improve the function and operation of production to meet our CIP plan.
  • Oversee all production lines and insure that they are meeting goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage personnel and support personnel with conjunction to overall business plan. And performance evaluations for all department personnel.
  • Evaluate and control spending for SMT
  • Insure the implementation of Business System in all production lines and get improved.
  • Evaluate and improve usage of current equipment and work methods.
  • Insure all production documentation is done accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Special projects and work arranged by the supervisor to achieve the company's objectives.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Evidence of Continued Education and Training.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in a similar position required.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to read and follow blueprints.
  • Good problem solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellence English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of personal computer software and equipment
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills in a manufacturing setting.
  • Service oriented with excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Ability to be decisive and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to interview, select and organize people into teams to achieve production goals.
  • High energy level and the ability to work extended hours when necessary.
