Compensation: $73,500.00 annually

The SE Assistant Regional Director of Programs serves as a member of the Regional Leadership Team; Serves as back-up for the Regional Director; Coordinates with Regional Leadership and represents the Region in statewide management meetings, task forces, etc.; Participates as a member of the team of Regional Director, Personnel Services Director, and Assistant Director to resolve personnel issues; Assists with the collection and interpretation of DCF program data; Assists in development of processes and tools to promote use of problem solving and decision-making techniques; Assists in developing management systems and tools to measure compliance and ensure the Service Delivery system is operating at the highest standard and that outcomes are being met.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in planning, organizing and directing the work of a department, program or agency. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. The employee must be aware of common safety procedures in dealing with angry or hostile individuals. Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal format. This is a demanding position requiring extensive knowledge, of agency programs, administrative and management skills. Due to the level of responsibility, the employee will need to be able to handle stress while maintaining program integrity, quality and successful outcomes. Valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications: A broad knowledge of agency programs, successful experience in financial and human resource management and demonstrated leadership ability.
