To assist the Group Teacher in providing effective classroom operation and support the well-being of the children enrolled at the Child Development Center. The Assistant Teacher is responsible for supervision and safety of children in their care.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4 months experience required. Student Fieldwork accepted.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates understanding of the community college mission, collaborates effectively with peers and other stakeholders, has the ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders, and has basic proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
