We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us in our Insights to Impact team based out of Oakville, ON, CA (hybrid)

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will lead an active role in the daily business operations as a strong partner to operations, supporting the business with controls, financial analysis, and relevant insights. They will integrate financial & non financial data together to support business decisions. This individual will manage budgeting, cost control, resource reallocation, investment planning, and cash flow management.

Who you’ll work with

This role will report to the Head of Insights to Impact, and act as a Business Partner to the CA Business Units and functional heads focusing on OPEX controlling, forecasting planning and analytics.

What you’ll do

Controlling

  • Analyzing the monthly OPEX results with business partners, against prior year, forecast and budget as to the reasons for variances
  • Provide guidance and input into monthly stock analysis and control issues management for 3PL together with Supply Chain Lead
  • Supporting the Head, Business Services Australia for issues resolution on local Payroll matters
  • Provides general overview of financial health of affiliate to the Leadership Team
  • Provides ad hoc financial analysis on local projects
  • Provide Finance-input to assessing external unsolicited funding requests as part of the triangle of compliance/ARC
  • Prepare complete business review presentations for the Business Heads on a Monthly basis, including a comprehensive view of the performance of each PVx by product.
  • G2N Control. Sales daily and monthly follow up, actively collaborating with trade area, continuously challenging credit and debit notes, reviewing prices performance and analyzing prices profitability.
  • Establish effective OpEx Control among local organization to proactively prevent for negative budget deviations.

Internal controls and processes

  • Support in development of appropriate KPIs and/or CPIs
  • Participate to project with PVO IM on continuously improve processes on local, regional or global level
  • Oversee the SAP PR/PO process
  • Updating and the maintenance of the DOA for local entity
  • Participate in the internal and external audit as required

Compliance

  • Ensure Compliance in all local and global aspects
  • Specifically provide support to the local Travel and Purchasing policies, on their review and implementation

Other

  • Provide support to the Business Excellence Lead on market intelligence data reporting and analysis (sales force effectiveness)

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience with proven experiences in FP&A
  • 3 years solid experiences from Big 4 Audit is a plus
  • 3 to 5 years and SAP knowledge preferred
  • Experience in the pharmaceuticals industry is a plus
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Excel and other Project Management tools
