Job Title: Industrial Spray Painter

Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join our team. This position involves preparing and applying coatings to metal and composite surfaces using spray equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVLP, electrostatic, or airless spray systems, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality.

This role supports U.S. Government projects, including work on maritime equipment, parts and components, machinery, and internal buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply industrial coatings using spray equipment.
• Operate in a paint booth and on-site as needed.
• Mix paints and coatings to required specifications.
• Perform sanding, blasting, and prepping of surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years minimum; 5–7 years preferred. Experience with large structural steel or bridge painting is highly desirable.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: OSHA 10 (required by the City of Philadelphia).
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50–60 lbs regularly.
• Other: Occasional work at customer sites required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $32.35/hr.
