Machine Operator

$19.75/hr - $21.25/hr

Job Description:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of a single piece of manufacturing equipment with simple functions. You will ensure the equipment is set up and pre-run properly to guarantee a smooth production start-up. You will control line speeds, batch formulas, production rates, and manage the starting and stopping of equipment, all while maintaining product elegance and safety. Additionally, you will perform various quality checks and complete all necessary paperwork using SAP and SOPs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a single piece of manufacturing equipment with simple functions.
• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Control line speeds, batch formulas, production rates, and equipment operation.
• Conduct various quality checks to ensure product standards.
• Complete required paperwork, such as downtime and HACCP documentation.
• Conduct yourself and ensure subordinates conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and standards of conduct.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision.
• Capability to obtain necessary production specifications.
• Proficient communication and reasoning skills to relay information effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 0-1 year of related experience.
• Skills in production, machine operation, inspection, assembly, packaging, blueprint reading, hand tools, and tape measure usage.

Work Environment:

This position is in a food manufacturing environment, specifically in a plant where frozen pizzas are made. The facility is typically cold, around 40 degrees, though the bakery area may be warmer.

Pay Rate:

$19.75/hr - $21.25/hr

Shift:

1st shift - 5am-5:30pm

3rd shift - 5pm-5:30am

These are rotating 2-2-3 schedules (rotational shift)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Kentucky.

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $21.25/hr.
