Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will play a vital role in preparing orders for shipment in a partially climate-controlled warehouse. This role involves repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs, packaging products, and using a computer system to enter tracking information and print labels. Proficiency in SAP is strongly preferred, as it will be used extensively throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare orders for shipment.
  • Package products and enter tracking information using a computer system.
  • Print shipping labels.
  • Perform administrative duties such as opening and re-boxing packages.
  • Send emails to the procurement team and enter relevant information into SAP according to SOP and customer guidelines.
  • Expect to work overtime and weekends for the first 3-6 months, totaling approximately 60+ hours per week.
  • Pack and pick orders, documenting into the computer system.
  • Be on feet all day and regularly lift 20-30 lbs.
  • Prepare complex reports and presentations, and analyze data using various software packages and databases.
  • Determine methods and procedures to accomplish tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Experience in administrative duties and complex report preparation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with computer systems for tracking and labeling.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a partially climate-controlled warehouse, with shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The position requires being on feet all day, regularly lifting 20-30 lbs, and working on-site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
