Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to assist with the move to our new yard and shop. This role involves loading and unloading materials, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting technicians as needed. This is a 2 week contract with the possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products into C-Cans and trailers.
• Transport items from containers to waste bins.
• Climb into trailers and containers throughout the shift.
• Maintain and organize the yard, including heavy lifting and material handling.
• Ensure a clean and organized working area both indoors and outdoors.
• Support technicians where needed.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
• 6+ months of experience in yard, construction, or shop clean-up.
• Complete online client Comply Works health and safety module.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Trailer handling experience.
• Knowledge of tools such as saws, drills, and ratchets.
• Ability to document site paperwork and use a computer.

Work Environment

Work primarily in an outdoor yard with occasional indoor trailer tasks. Engage in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a family-friendly atmosphere. The role includes a 15-minute morning meeting followed by a dynamic workday. Complete online health and safety training before starting.

The shift is from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with limited overtime.

Dress for the weather with steel toe boots, and protective gear will be provided.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
