Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating sit-down gas forklifts, moving and stacking recycling materials and garbage, and ensuring efficient material handling throughout the facility. You will also perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment, work both indoors and outdoors, and assist wherever needed within the facility. Experience with balers and skid loaders is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down gas forklifts efficiently and safely.
  • Move and stack recycling materials and garbage.
  • Transport materials throughout the facility and empty full containers.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment.
  • Assist with various tasks as needed within the facility.

Essential Skills

  • forklift operating experience.
  • Proficiency in material handling and loading.
  • Experience with heavy equipment, skid steer, and loader.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
