About the Opportunity
The Associate Director of Residential Life - Student Staff Recruitment, Training and Development will oversee the development, recruitment, training, and continued education of the student-staff members living, learning, and working at Northeastern University. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to student learning and innovative approaches to education. The Department of Residential Life supports over 11,000 students living on our Boston campus. Under the direction of the Senior Director, the Associate Director is a member of the department leadership team and provides oversight, support, and assistance to professional staff and students. The Associate Director will help develop departmental policy and decision-making functions for achieving departmental goals and objectives. They will be charged with coordinating and implementing departmental decisions and directives and will process and resolve student/parent/guardian or staff concerns.
The Associate Director will oversee critical functions within Residential Life, including student-staff recruitment, selection, training, development and advising. The successful candidate will be student centered and work collaboratively with other members of the Residential Life team to develop an innovative residential program that supports the needs of today’s dynamic learners.

Expected Hiring Range:
$75,210.00 - $106,230.00
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
