Description

Mechanical Assembly & Integration Technician – Be a key player in the integration and mechanical assembly of Beckman Coulter’s machines—cutting-edge diagnostic equipment found in hospitals across the United States. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with precision tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, wire strippers, and drills, as you integrate sub-assemblies into chassis with accuracy and efficiency. Your work will involve carefully following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with 100+ steps, ensuring seamless assembly while adhering to detailed work instructions. These modules require meticulous attention, taking over 3 hours to complete, involving intricate wiring with over 500 cables and making 900+ connections with small parts—so strong hand dexterity and focus are essential. Beyond assembly, you’ll play a critical role in aligning, calibrating, and testing the functionality of the machine throughout integration. You will be expected to maintain precise records, execute work orders efficiently, and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with an unwavering commitment to quality and safety. This role requires someone who can work independently, prioritize assignments effectively, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be key to success.
