Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. This role involves rebar assembly and working with concrete, requiring proficiency in blueprint reading, MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly/production processes. The position offers stable work with advancement opportunities and pay increases based on tenure and performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform rebar assembly and cage building tasks.
• Work with concrete and rebar materials.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure accuracy in all assembly processes.
• Operate various machines and tools necessary for assembly and fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly and fabrication tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Skill in operating machines related to assembly and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in assembly and manufacturing environments.
• Comfortable working in industrial settings with varying temperatures.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, with conditions that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter, yet well-ventilated and fairly clean for a weld/assembly shop. The position is full-time on the 1st shift, starting from 5 AM to 1:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
