We also deliver retail+ads information services enabling Amazon partner teams to provide brands with automated campaign management experiences.
You will be working on building out our Fraud Detection and Verifications system. You will be become an expert in a variety of ML techniques, coming up with innovative solutions to restrict abusive actors, while maintaining friction-free advertising for good customers.
As an Applied Scientist you will work with business leaders, engineers, and scientists to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed solutions. You will develop science products and internal tooling to drive new product development decisions and interventions to improve existing products. Current research areas include entity resolution, generative AI, large language models, and product substitutes. This is a unique, high visibility opportunity for someone who wants to have business impact, dive deep into large-scale science problems, enable measurable actions and work closely with scientists and engineers. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
