Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly talented and experienced Program Director, Toll Roadways. The Program Director leads a team of civil, transportation, and traffic engineers, planners, and financial professionals with daily operations while providing future toll highway leadership guidance for Turnpike Enterprise. Seeking the individual with client leadership and future visions for the Enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Significant interaction with other Program Management/General Consultant managers/directors for General Engineering, Operations, and Tolling separate contracts
  • Routinely resolves difficult issues with a significant financial impact
  • Interacts with senior government and public officials and executive-level clients on program matters requiring coordination between organizations
  • Assesses and manages risk on behalf of the client
  • Provides oversight and direction to staff and subcontractors
  • Mentors deputy project managers
  • Significant interaction with Program Managers for other General Engineering, Operations, and Tolling contracts
  • Requires project and client management experience including management of multiple projects of varying scope and complexity

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BA/BS in Engineering or Finance or related field
  • 12 years of program management experience in the transportation industry or other related technical professional industries or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Preferred:
  • Program or project management experience with toll facility systems, engineering, planning, and traffic and revenue forecasting.
  • Experience with working with bond rating agencies and bond sales and covenants.
  • Experience with program financial management and team leadership and understanding of self-funded state programs, preferably in Florida.
  • Engineering consulting industry experience.
  • Experience with large client programs with complex levels of program disciplines - traffic engineering, planning, travel demand modeling, traffic & revenue forecasting, and annual reporting.
