VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care at The LifeCentre in Leesburg, VA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician or LVT-eligible to join our team on evenings and overnights!

We are currently offering:

• $2,500 Sign On Bonus
• Weekend and Overnight Shift Differential Pay
• 12-hour shifts or 10-hour rotational shifts (3 on / 3 off)

About the Role

We want you to utilize your skills and knowledge to the fullest, while continuing to learn and grow. Duties will include:

• Patient triage and assessment
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture, catheter placement
• Laboratory sample collection and processing
• Radiology and diagnostic testing
• Medication preparation and administration
• IV fluids and infusion set up and maintenance
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
• Medical recordkeeping

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia, license-eligible, or enrolled in an AVMA accredited program. Technician students are welcome to apply.
• Salary is competitive with consideration taken for experience and discussed upon hiring.
