Black Hills State University seeks applicants for a live-in East Complex Director/Residential Operations Coordinator position with the Department of Residence Life. Current employees of Black Hills State University are eligible to apply for this position.
DUTIES:
The East Complex Director is responsible for the East Complex (comprised of the Yellow Jacket Apartments, Humbert Hall, and Wenona Cook Hall), its occupants, and its facilities. The East Complex Director also serves as the Residential Operations Coordinator to oversee departmental operations (housing assignments, work orders, yearly assessment, etc.). This position works closely with the West Complex Director/Residential Education Coordinator and the Director to complete all duties and responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities include overall complex and residence hall administration, including (but not limited to):
The East Complex Director is also expected to establish and maintain a residence hall atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth consistent with the goals of Black Hills State University. The East Complex Director reports to the Director of Residence Life.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent and live-in residence hall or community living experience are required.
