Job Title: CLIA Lab Technician

Job Description

The CLIA Lab Technician will collaborate with both General and Technical personnel to achieve departmental goals and tasks. This role requires proactive task completion and problem reporting to the General personnel if issues arise. The technician will participate in laboratory cleaning according to established SOPs and utilize logic for problem-solving. Duties are performed under supervision, with expectations of timely and quality completion.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sample accession, testing, and reporting.
  • Perform routine proficiency testing.
  • Conduct operational qualifications on instruments.
  • Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with CLIA, Q-PCR, Real Time PCR, and LIMS.
  • Knowledge of Medical Laboratory Technician protocols.
  • Proficiency in liquid handling techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be a Citizen or permanent resident.

Work Environment

This position operates in a CLIA testing lab. Shift: Tuesday-Saturday and Wednesday-Sunday shift. The company offers long tenure, great benefits once hired, holiday pay for contractors, and opportunities for promotion from within

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
