Are you eager to grow with us? To make sure that our global purchase orders will be delivered in the right time and right place we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operational Buyer to join our Procurement team.

As an Operational Buyer you are going to convert demands into purchase orders and ensure the timely availability of the ordered parts and materials, by monitoring your suppliers. You will work in close collaboration with the commodity buying team and procurement planning.

As a primary contact, you will stay in touch with customers from all over the globe. you will build a strong relationship with our key suppliers and you will be in control for the commodities for which you are responsible. You have the freedom to optimally use your talents and to develop yourself further within our supply chain and procurement department.

Responsibilities

Amongst others:

  • transfer Material Requirements Planning (MRP) demands into purchase orders
  • checks and processes order confirmations and processes any changes;
  • proactive monitoring of delivery times and escalating if necessary;
  • administrative processing of the purchase orders;
  • communicating the possible late deliveries to internal customers;
  • safety first: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Education & qualifications

  • Completed education on bachelor degree level, preferably in Supply Chain or Business Administration
  • Fluency in the Dutch and English language, verbally as well as in writing

Does this sound like you?

  • Strong communicator and knowing how to prioritize various stakeholders within an international environment
  • As a person you are accurate and can plan your work well
  • You can be persistent when needed and convincing towards our suppliers to make sure they uphold the agreements made
  • It’s a big plus if you have experience with SAP and a completed NEVI MIL course. Feel free to apply even if you don’t have this experience.
