General Summary of Position:
- Oversees the technical project management team, ensuring successful execution of various technical projects.
- This role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring project goals are met within budget and scope.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead and supervise a team of technical project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings and communication between project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and vendors.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal use of personnel and budget.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale technical projects.
- Familiarity with agile project management practices.
