This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service multi-hire for Hillsborough County.
The mission of this position is to support the effective functioning of community corrections by managing the intake and processing of offenders, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining comprehensive offender records. This role is crucial in enhancing public safety by interpreting and coding sentencing documents, verifying offender data, and preparing detailed criminal records. Additionally, the position aims to drive offender rehabilitation by coordinating community service activities, assisting with job placements and program assignments, and ensuring high-quality documentation. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
