Patient Experience Liaison - FT (12:00pm-8:00pm) MMC

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Patient Experience Liaison at Morristown Medical Center. Required shift: 12:00PM – 8:00PM, including alternating weekends. Starting rate $20/hr.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison for all patients and families.
  • Utilizes the skills and provides experience to the family members of the patient for patient care experience.
  • Works with the team members, staff and physicians.
  • Analyzes and resolves complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
  • Works with individuals or departments to minimize service delays and communicates delays to patients and families.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or relevant area preferred.
  • To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Must effectively manage time, and function as a self- starter by being proactive.

Relevant Experience:

  • Excellent customer service experience preferred.
  • Retail experienced preferred.
  • HCAHPS knowledgeable preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Proficient with Epic (preferred).
  • Previous experience in caring for patients and families preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality or relevant area preferred.
