[What the role is]

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join the Ops Tech team. The successful candidate will contribute to the transformation of urban greenery management as Singapore transits into a City in Nature. The Ops Tech Manager is responsible for assisting in the implementation of technology solutions that support the organization’s operational processes. As the Ops Tech Manager, you are required to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation. You might be required to travel to operational sites and work extended hours during critical project phases. You will be required to liaise closely with vendors to coordinate and implement data pipeline solutions between urban planning systems and tree registry systems with a focus on 3D point cloud data and wind simulation integration.

[What you will be working on]

  • Collaborate with operations team, IT, and other departments to drive the implementation of new technology systems within operational environments
  • Work with third-party vendors and service providers from the tech team to scope, implement, and test technology solutions, ensuring they meet stated requirements
  • Work on proof of concepts (POC) projects including scoping, budgeting, scheduling of project timeline etc
  • Identify opportunities for digital solutions to support day-to-day greenery management operations
  • Share and present technology solutions to interested parties at various forums such as booth engagements, conferences, media engagements etc
  • Drafting of contract specifications
  • Project management involving inter-disciplinary teams
  • Document technical requirements for data integration between RTMS and ePlanner systems, specifically for 3D tree models and wind simulation outputs
  • Coordinate system integration activities while ensuring minimal operational disruption
  • Support testing and validation of wind simulation data integration with existing tree assessment models

  • Comfortable on camera, good presentation skills
  • Experience in operations management preferred
