ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Quality Manager to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides strategic leadership in implementing comprehensive methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards
  • Develop and enforce rigorous quality control processes, ensuring products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Direct the preparation of detailed quality reports by strategically collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, providing actionable insights for process improvement
  • Establish and manage deadlines for the delivery of products, ensuring timely completion while maintaining exceptional quality
  • Provide expert training and leadership to production line staff in advanced production practices and comprehensive quality assessment techniques
  • Meticulously track products through the entire development lifecycle, ensuring each stage of the process is executed flawlessly
  • Conduct thorough and recorded inspections of final products, verifying alignment with requirements and user needs, and ensuring zero defects
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities, driving efficiency and effectiveness across all production activities and they lead software development risk reduction initiatives, minimizing potential issues and ensuring reliable software products
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry best practices and organizational objectives
  • Serve as a key liaison between Production Teams, project management, and executive leadership, fostering a culture of quality excellence

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
  • 9+ years of experience with 5+ years of position-relevant Quality Manager experience
  • Experience in a Government QA project environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CMMI).
  • Experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems. Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience in designing and executing test plans for products and production equipment. Ability to conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Knowledge of various testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience in preparing Quality Reports and presentations for management. .
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience auditing to external quality standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, AS9100, and CMMI development. Experience providing quality management with software development and IT service management projects.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile-informed methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and delivering quality-related training programs.
  • Relevant industry-standard certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, Certified Quality Manager (CQM), and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
