QA Test Engineer, Global Trade

We are seeking a skilled QA Test Engineer to ensure the quality of our market-leading Global Trade Management solution, ONESORCE Global Trade. As a QA Test Engineer, you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, perform various types of testing (unit, functional, system, acceptance, and regression), and lead quality assurance efforts to identify and report defects. You will work closely with internal teams and external business users to communicate test results, replicate defects, and support implementation teams.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a QA Test Engineer, you will:

  • Review Business Requirements and other project related documentation, work with Project Manager in developing QA plan for the project that includes seeking test scenarios from the customer, building test plans/scripts, building a project schedule for testing, executing the testing involved and reporting on test results to all stakeholders.
  • Perform unit, function, interface, system, acceptance and regression testing of OneSource Global Trade (OSGT) which is our market leading Global Trade Management solution using both automated and manual methods as needed
  • Take the Lead position to ensure quality of TR solutions (OneSource Global Trade) in Smoke Testing, Exploratory Testing, End to End Testing and support User Testing.
  • Build test plans based on test scenarios and execute the testing
  • Coordinate, facilitate and interact with internal team and external business users to communicate defects, actively participate in defect replication and support the implementation team as an integral part of quality assurance
  • Understand both manual automated testing methods and have experience working with automated tools such as HP Quality Center etc., and/or experience working with ticketing systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow etc.
  • Create necessary documentation like test report containing first pass yield, pass percentages, test evidence etc. as deemed necessary based on project needs
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously

About You

You’re a fit for the role of QA Test Engineer if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Strong QA skills, have 3~7 years of experience successfully managing complex client facing projects.
  • Automation Expertise: Proven track record in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automated test suites for SaaS applications
  • Proven experience in enterprise software implementations/ testing, project life cycles and software implementation methodologies
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to analyze test results, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve product quality
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Passion for Quality: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality software products and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in software solutions implementation projects involving Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Trade management or ERP systems desirable
  • Native level Japanese language skills and good communication skills in English, both writing and speaking. Fluency in any other Asian language is a plus.
  • Quick learner and ability to work with minimum supervision.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Experience of working in multinational companies
  • Relevant certifications
